City Hall Sessions
Project Overview
Shozab designed and projected large-scale animated visuals for City Hall Sessions, a public arts and music event held at Boston City Hall in September 2026. Working in collaboration with the City of Boston, he transformed the building’s architectural facade into a dynamic visual canvas, bringing together motion graphics, experimental animation, and projection mapping.
The visuals combined bold typography, rhythmic patterns, and abstract compositions that responded to the energy of the event. Drawing inspiration from themes of community, housing, education, and public life, the projections transformed City Hall into an animated environment, creating a shared visual experience for audiences gathered in the plaza.
